Custom Equipment Enclosures, Built for Real Applications

See how our custom enclosures are engineered to meet unique space, environmental, and operational needs.

At GlobalVac & Air, we design and build custom equipment enclosures  that solve real-world operational challenges, whether that means protecting critical air and vacuum equipment, avoiding construction delays, or adapting to space-constrained or outdoor environments.

Every project starts with understanding your application, environment, and operational constraints—such as limited space, environmental exposure, noise concerns, contamination risks, or the need to scale quickly—then designing an enclosure that fits how your operation actually runs.

The projects below show how we’ve delivered custom enclosure solutions across research, energy and biogas, manufacturing, and other demanding applications. Each example highlights how thoughtful design, flexible fabrication, and practical engineering come together to support performance, uptime, and long-term usability.

University Research Lab

Air Compressor Enclosure for University Research Lab

A university research lab focused on semiconductor and advanced materials research needed a quiet, oil-free compressed air system that could support sensitive lab work without disrupting the research environment. Space constraints and the need for flexibility ruled out traditional mechanical room construction.

We designed a Mobile Engineered Solution (MES) that housed an oil-free compressed air system in a compact, self-contained enclosure. The system delivered clean, dry air while minimizing noise and allowing the lab to deploy the equipment quickly—without permanent construction or disruption to ongoing research.

Research Lab

Vacuum Equipment Enclosure for a Research Lab

A research lab needed a clean, reliable vacuum system to support critical lab processes—while protecting sensitive equipment from contamination and maintaining consistent performance in a demanding environment.

We designed a custom Mobile Engineered Solution to house a specialized laboratory vacuum package. The enclosure protects the equipment, supports contamination-free operation, and delivers dependable vacuum performance without adding complexity to the lab’s workflow.

Dairy Biogas Clean-up

Equipment Enclosure for Dairy Biogas Clean-up Site

A dairy biogas clean-up site needed reliable, clean instrument air to operate pneumatically actuated valves and support ongoing system processes—while also making efficient use of limited on-site space.

We designed a custom Mobile Engineered Solution that houses GVA scroll air compressors and integrates a compact office area within the same enclosure. The result is a purpose-built setup that supports continuous operation, protects critical equipment, and maximizes space efficiency in a demanding outdoor environment.

Landfill

Landfill Leachate Extraction Compressed Air System

The landfill required a dependable compressed air system to operate pneumatic down-well pumps used for leachate extraction. The system needed to deliver clean, dry compressed air while maintaining suitable operating temperatures inside the equipment enclosure.

A complete compressed air package was designed around two 7.5 HP rotary screw compressors mounted on a horizontal receiver tank. Filtration and refrigerated drying equipment help remove particulates, moisture, and oil aerosols before air is supplied to the down-well pumps.

A secondary vertical receiver provides additional air storage, while an oil-water separator supports proper condensate management. A thermostatically controlled heater and exhaust fan regulate the interior environment, and a temperature sensor allows the customer to remotely monitor enclosure conditions.

  • ELGi dual 7.5 HP rotary screw air compressor package
  • 120-gallon horizontal receiver tank
  • Nano 1-micron particulate filter
  • Nano 0.01-micron coalescing filter
  • Nano NDL 050-F2 refrigerated air dryer
  • SPV 120-gallon vertical receiver tank
  • Sterling CS75I oil-water separator
  • 7.5 kW thermostatically controlled ceiling heater
  • 1/3 HP thermostatically controlled exhaust fan
  • Emerson interior temperature sensor

Remediation

Texas Bio-Sparging Remediation System

An environmental remediation site in Texas required a reliable source of pressurized air to support bio-sparging operations. The system needed to deliver and distribute air across the contaminated area to help stimulate aerobic microorganisms and accelerate the natural breakdown of pollutants in the soil and groundwater.

Three 40-foot containerized equipment systems were deployed to support the site’s remediation process. Together, the units provide oil-free compressed air, air storage, controls, and distribution capabilities for the bio-sparging system.

One container houses the receiver tanks, controls, and manifold equipment. A second contains two 50 HP Kaeser oil-free air compressors. The third serves as a manifold enclosure connected to an existing onsite Kaeser compressor, allowing the system to distribute air where it is needed throughout the remediation area.

  • Three 40-foot containerized equipment enclosures
  • Two Kaeser 50 HP oil-free air compressors
  • Compressed air receiver tanks
  • System controls
  • Air distribution manifolds
  • Dedicated manifold enclosure
  • Connection to an existing onsite Kaeser compressor

Agriculture

Custom Outdoor Compressed Air Enclosure

The customer needed an outdoor-rated oil-free compressed air system on a tight timeline. A standard outdoor compressor package could not be delivered quickly enough to meet the project schedule, requiring a custom solution built around available equipment.

The team developed a Mobile Engineered Solution around a Quincy QOF-150 oil-free air compressor. A custom weather-resistant enclosure was designed and fabricated to protect the compressor during outdoor operation.

Multiple access doors and removable panels were incorporated into the enclosure, providing technicians with practical access for routine maintenance, inspection, and service without compromising equipment protection.
